My areas of expertise include litigating and resolving disputes involving issues of contract, copyright, trademark, Lanham Act, First Amendment, trade secrets, theft of ideas, unfair competition, fraud, interference with business relations, rights of privacy and publicity, intellectual property, employment, real property and other general complex civil business, corporate and securities litigation matters.
I have been awarded an "AV-Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell for more than 20 consecutive years. An AV-Preeminent rating reflects an attorney who has reached the highest of professional excellence and is recognized for the highest level of skill and integrity. As of this writing, I have been named eight times as a Southern California SuperLawyer (tm).
I also wrote the opening/anchor chapter to the multi-author legal treatise Entertainment Litigation (Oxford University Press, July 2011), a compendium of attorney-authored in-depth analyses about the entertainment litigation process and its principal substantive law issues.
