Larry Rubin

Based in Spencer Stuart’s Mexico City office, Larry D. Rubin is a member of the Consumer Goods & Services, Education, Nonprofit & Government and Aviation, Aerospace & Defense practices. Larry spent 11 years in the retail consumer market, serving as Mexico’s managing director for Forever Living Products. Prior to that, he served as managing director of Latin America for Garcoa Laboratories and also worked with Amway Corporation. As the CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, he worked with leaders of multinational companies in an array of industries, lobbying for diverse corporate interests with local, state and national authorities in both Mexico and the United States. Larry also has 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, working with US Airways as country manager for Mexico, with additional regional responsibilities in the Caribbean and South America. Larry serves as the president and chairman of the board of The American Society of Mexico and is also a mentor with Endeavor Global, an organization aimed at creating long-term economic growth by identifying and mentoring high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. He has received the American Chamber of Commerce’s Commerce Award six times and the ITAM Best Administrator Award. Larry has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad Anahuac, where he also serves on its Advisory Board and as a mentor to students. He speaks English and Spanish.
