Larry B. Anderson

As the Chief Executive Officer of Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California, Larry B. Anderson maintains responsibility for 2,300 employees and a staff of more than 500 physicians from more than 60 specialties. Anderson came to the facility during a time of tumult in 2009; Tri-City Medical Center was facing financial losses, high-interest debt and imminent closure due to a failure to meet seismic regulations. Within his first year and a half, Larry B. Anderson succeeded in generating profitability at the center by actions such as lowering the interest rates on liabilities, gaining seismic clearance through 2030. Tri-City Medical Center has remained profitable in the ensuing months while improving and expanding its services, including the ongoing development of institutes dedicated to treating cancer as well as improving orthopedic and cardiovascular health.

In addition, Larry B. Anderson has helped the facility obtain an array of certifications and accreditations, such as status as a Gold-Plus Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center. The facility also holds accreditations from The Joint Commission and the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. Recognized as a leader in the health care industry, Anderson maintains an active role in the District Hospital Leadership Forum, the Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties, and the California Integrated Systems Council of the California Hospital Association. Larry B. Anderson began preparing for his career at California State University, Long Beach, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Following commencement, Anderson matriculated at the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and subsequently gained license to practice as an attorney in California. After serving the United States Postal Service as a Senior Career Executive for the first part of his career, Larry B. Anderson worked in the capacity of Executive Vice President and General Counsel with California-based Alta Hospitals System, LLC. Anderson went on to leverage his knowledge of the medical industry to establish his own hospital management firm, Integrated Healthcare Holdings, Inc., which operate
