Originally a Jersey Boy, a young Larry was uprooted and his family moved to the Deep South. Without the normal luxuries such as electricity, he had to rely on himself for entertainment. Singing was his only escape. As a youngster, Larry was invited to sing on stage with Karen Carpenter, and he has never stopped singing since. His passion is for songs written before 1970. At age 18, Larry entered a singing contest and was tagged “a male Barbra Streisand”.
