An accomplished business leader, Larry Gaynor has served as TNG Worldwide’s president and chief executive officer since 1985. During this time, Larry Gaynor has overseen the firm’s expansion to include 75 manufacturing facilities worldwide that produce more than 1,500 products.
Throughout this time, he has led the company to receive multiple accolades, such as being named a Top Workplace by the Detroit Free Press on five occasions. Mr. Gaynor has also earned personal recognition for his work, including being named an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. He has also overseen the firm’s shift from product distributor to major manufacturer.
A Michigan State University graduate, he earned his bachelor of arts in business in 1977. When away from work, Larry Gaynor enjoys playing Texas hold ’em and cooking. He is also dedicated to learning Spanish, and spends an hour each day studying the language. Physically active, he regularly swims, lifts weights, and attends yoga classes, among other pursuits.
