Larry Hayes

Larry Hayes’ industry background includes twenty-six years of executive credit union experience in marketing and business development. Most recently, Hayes served as vice president of marketing and business development at First Service Credit Union (formerly Right Choice Credit Union), Houston, Texas. He also took up the credit union cause as vice president of marketing at HFS Federal Credit Union, Hilo, Hawaii, and worked at other credit unions in Hawaii and California.

Hayes started his career in Washington, D.C., with HUD Federal Credit Union. Later, he ran his own business consulting firm applying his expertise for credit unions in the areas of strategic planning, marketing strategies, promotions, business development, and financial statement analysis. He also taught classes for the formerly called D.C. League of Credit Unions.
