Five Things You Should Not Do While Using An Infrared Home Sauna

1. Do not put on jewelry or body cream. Since the temperature in a home infrared sauna kits can be very hot, using jewelries during treatments could cause burns. It is recommended that you take off your necklaces, earrings, piercings, and bracelets before entering the sauna. Moreover, do not use body cream or lotion on your body. If you do, your skin would end up very oily during the treatment, and your pores would have a hard time to breathe and release sweat.

2. Do not bring gadgets. The hot temperature of home infrared sauna will certainly affect your tablets or phones, causing it to break down. With that being said, avoid bringing gadgets during therapies.

3. Do not shave or groom yourself. Some people do lots of grooming within the infrared home sauna to save time, like brushing their teeth or shaving their legs. This is a poor habit to have because it will make the sauna dirty and attract bacteria.

4. Don't push yourself to the limit. It is important to remember that you should have a time limit when using infrared saunas because the body can't endure staying in high temperatures for a long period. Excessive use of a sauna can lead to negative effects on your body like headaches and nausea. If you suddenly feel ill or uncomfortable during therapy, don't hesitate to end the session and go out at once.

5. Do not go alone. Though this isn't necessary, going with someone when using a home infrared sauna is an excellent idea. It can be your spouse, your friends, or your children. In this way, there would be somebody to help you out in case you feel unwell or pass out. Additionally, having a companion during sauna therapies can make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
