Larry Wallace
Larry Wallace has over 20 years of business development /executive leadership experience. He’s led the strategy, growth, and operations of companies with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $45 million in areas of executive management including strategic leadership, operations, sales and marketing. Wallace has the unique expertise of growing companies both through organic and acquisition growth. While enjoying a successful career in business development and executive leadership, Wallace had a desire to utilize his business acumen on the philanthropic front specifically to help people. With that desire, he launched a philanthropic organization dedicated to empowering the personal and professional lives of those in greatest need. As COO of EMcorp, he has used the same business skills that enriched other corporate environments to build an online leadership university, create strategic partnerships, as well as launch a social network with individuals in over 15 countries dedicated to using their lives to bringing about change. Prior to EMcorp, Wallace served as Vice President of global, OEM’s and operating system services for Motricity, the world's premier provider of mobile content services and solutions to the wireless industry. Wallace led the global efforts for identifying and executing the company's strategic partnerships with device manufacturers, OEMs and software partners. Under Wallace's leadership, Motricity expanded its footprint to include such partners as Palm, Sony Ericsson, Amazon and others. Prior to Motricity, Wallace served as a member of the senior partner management team for Fujitsu/BORN Information Services, providing the company with solid leadership in eBusiness trends and working knowledge of eCommerce, technical and business fundamentals. Wallace is a graduate of Texas A&M;, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Wallace is also a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences.
