Government Affairs, Stakeholder Strategy, and Emerging Tech Policy

I am a local-government strategist and public-affairs professional with extensive experience working with elected officials, public agencies, community leaders, and private-sector stakeholders.

My career began in East Bay city government, where I developed a practical understanding of legislative strategy, constituent service, public communications, coalition building, and the day-to-day work required to turn policy priorities into results. I later expanded that experience through government affairs and advocacy work representing organizations and stakeholders before local governments and regional decision-makers.

My background spans executive advising, legislative and policy strategy, stakeholder engagement, coalition building, strategic communications, intergovernmental relations, and organizational leadership. I have worked across government, policy, and public-facing environments where success depends on sound judgment, political awareness, clear communication, and the ability to move complex initiatives from concept to execution.

I am particularly interested in strengthening the connection between local communities and state government, improving the delivery of public services, and helping elected leaders develop practical responses to housing, transportation, affordability, economic development, and other regional challenges.

I also have a strong interest in emerging policy areas where public institutions must understand rapidly developing technologies and systems. My current areas of focus include artificial intelligence, intellectual property, blockchain policy, and the challenge of making technically complex ideas legible to policymakers, regulators, and external stakeholders.

Core strengths include government affairs, legislative and policy analysis, executive advising, stakeholder strategy, coalition building, strategic communications, intergovernmental relations, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
