Laticia Headings

Owner, Latitude Media, Producer, and camera woman in Washington, DC

Over the years, Laticia's career has taken her around the globe, allowing her to broaden her horizons and expand her professional repertoire to become an accomplished producer, writer, camera woman and on-camera host. With two decades of television, documentary & multi-platform media experience, Laticia has helmed and collaborated on a vast array of television shows and series for esteemed networks, including National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, History Channel, Lifetime, Animal Planet, E! Networks, WE tv & MobiTV. As well, she established and managed the documentary department for Participant Media.

An intrepid producer who loves a challenge and thrives on creativity, she is often sought out to do the jobs other producers won't touch, whether it's 'chaining up' in the blazing Arizona desert with the only all-women's chain gang in America (Chain Gang Girls, WE tv), diving into the precarious underbelly of the drug world by trailing a drug addict 24/7 (Addicted, Discovery Health), or trekking to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa (Everest: A Climb for Peace, PBS).

Laticia specializes in connecting with people, building cohesive relationships and telling their stories in an informative, compelling and non-biased way. She approaches all of her projects with humility and views each as an opportunity to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

In 2016, Laticia combined her passions and talents under one umbrella by starting Latitude: Media with Attitude, a boutique production company that helps people dream, create and inspire their ideas into the Universe, from concept to completion. Latitude is dedicated to the power of story telling and all things creative!
