Latricia London
Latricia Doniece London, is a native Chicagoan; she currently resides in Houston, TX. She graduated from Texas Southern University cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Her ultimate goals are to be able to perform at every capacity in the news room. She loves to write and blog and to talk about controversial issues that affect communities both the positive aspects on the community and negative.
She was involved in various campus organizations at TSU. To name a few, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. also she was a part of the student government association, which was the first initial organization that she was involved in at TSU (She has served as senator of Lanier West dormitory, senate at large of external affairs, senate pro-temp and today senator at large of External affair), she is also involved in UPC just a programming board at TSU that keeps the student life and moral up to part. She is also apart of the TSU Herald News paper staff which she has been apart since 2009.
Her experience in broadcast journalism includes, broadcast announcer for Christ Temple Missionary Baptist church located in Chicago, IL. She started doing the 7pm broadcast announcements at 16-years-old. She has experience with advance broadcast as an anchor doing the newscast. She has interned at both televison stations as well as radio stations in Houston.
In her free time she loves to blog, report the news and watch the news. She feels that if each person was aware of everything that was happening daily around the world, people would become more civilized. Her biggest inspiration is Oprah Winfrey.
