I am a storyteller. I strive to convey a narrative depth as does this photograph overlooking Capitol Reef National Park: stories of many ridges and layers. From studying at a highly acclaimed journalism school to two years writing for environmental newsmagazine The Appalachian Voice, I hold numerous tools for objective reporting. Those same two years I was a community organizer on an energy efficiency campaign, midwifing a paradigm shift into journalist-activist. Cross-country and international travel has honed this character--from which I muster a driving passion for furthering communication about climate justice on this blue planet.
