Laura's technical expertise and business acumen include twenty plus years as an entrepreneur, lead software engineer, and artificial intelligence researcher.
Laura is the Managing Partner at Clevermap Consulting a boutique software development firm based out of Arlington, VA. We work with founders and existing enterprises to develop software strategies and implement mobile and web applications.
As Create’s CTO, Laura has built a highly productive and collaborative development team. Laura provides insightful mentorship to team members, writes and reviews code and takes the role of ‘finisher’ for every release.

Laura was honored with a share of a Peabody Award for leading the development team at Turner Broadcasting; her team rebuilt CNN’s election data processing for the 2008-present elections.
