I'm one of those people that doesn't want to settle for a normal life, I have a lot of ambitions but what I really want to do is just to have a lot of fun while in the process of achieving them.

Back home in the UK I work as an Ecologist; I care passionately about wildlife and conservation. I have spent the last three years working in Birmingham and went to Sheffield Uni to do a degree in ecology before that.

But now I suppose you would have to call me a traveller because that's what I'm doing full time in 2015, with a bit of blogging when I can of course. And I'm learning as much as I can about the ecology of other parts of the world as I go along.

I've done a bit of travelling already in my life but I needed to put my mind to it to actually save up and make a big trip happen. Basically, I am now living the dream doing what I've wanted to do for a long time.

I love people, so meeting new people to me is one of the best things about travelling and sharing it with my boyfriend is even better. But I do have a lot of lovely close family and friends back home who I love and will be missing a lot so I will be thinking about them every step of the way.
