Laura Cohen
Project Manager in Paris, France
After graduating with a Master’s degree in communications in 2015, Laura joined Brightness (TEDxParis, L’Echappée Volée) as an event designer and public-speaking trainer. Since then, she has worked with more than a hundred speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, organizations (startups and large corporations) and countries.
At Brightness, Laura helped speakers prepare and present TED-like talks. She also organized and sourced speakers for events; produced training content; and delivered public-speaking workshops.
Laura started her career as a digital consultant at the Digital University (DDB° Paris), where she helped companies understand and integrate the digital mindset into their culture and strategy.
Her passion for education and learning naturally led her to Coorpacademy, a Paris-based startup specialized in MOOCS (Massive Open Online Courses).
In 2013, Laura participated in a round-the-world trip to gather information about collective intelligence. After interviewing 60 people across 18 countries over 6 months, she came back to France with a global overview on the trends shaping our future societies and one deep conviction: “we need to learn how to unlearn ”.
She is now working freelance as a Learning Experience Designer.
