Hello, there!

Well, simply my name is Laura Dakin and I'm a photography student at Leicester College! This is easily the best decision I've made in order to get myself out there and finding myself and passion. I was born on September 25th, 1996. I am currently looking into Univerisity!

I see photography as my written language. I would best describe my work as fine art, more specifically suggestion and maybe even conceptual. I have a huge love for psychology and do hope to further that into my work if at all possible. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm up-to-date with technology in terms of the photography world, then again I do prefer traditional over digital! (I'm on old woman inside of a young one!). I have many strong feelings for traditional and so much more appreciation for photography through this. I must admit, I love and hate the process, haha! But mostly love!

I have many interests, if it's not picking into the human brain, I often enjoy reading and definitely listening to music. I'm an outgoing person, having a love for long walks and exploration.
