Laura Sisney

First of all I am a child of The King. I am also a wife, mother of 2, grandmother of six, and a great grandmother of 1. I am blessed by having many sisters and brothers in Christ.

My passion is serving the Lord wherever He wants me to.

This past year has brought many changes in my life. Of course I am one year older--but I am thanking God that He is not finished with me yet.

My year started out with becoming a part of a Women's Ministry called ForeverMORE Women. We are 6 women whom God has called to minister to other women in the venue of Conferences and Retreats at different churches who call us. ( http://www.forevermorewomen.org )
I have been blessed tremendously by the wonderful women that we have met.

My husband and I were blessed with a great-grandson--One of the biggest joys this year.

I finished my second Devotional book and it was published in December. I still stand in amazement that God called me to write--as I am definitely not a writer: But I am thankful that God does not necessarily call the equipped, He equips the called. And as I tell everybody, I am the writer, but God is the author. I could never write without His divine guidance.

God seems to draw me closer to Him as the years go by. I cannot wait to see what He has for me this year. My desire is to live for Him and to live the life that He wants me to live; not just this year but for the rest of my life.
