Laura Villafani

Professional Graphic Artist/Interior Designer and have been working with UHY Advisors SALT, LLC since August 2009. Prior to joining UHY I had taken 14 years off work to become a full-time mother. I began my career at UHY as an entry level analyst where my responsibilities were finding property tax bills, data entry and filing. since then I have developed expertise in the area of marketing and sales where my responsibilities are of designing proposals and the marketing material. I also help in the preparation of tax returns during the busy season. I have developed a long list of contacts through the networking events and conferences I attend and have brought clients to UHY Advisors SALT (State and Local Tax), LLC. I have a strong interest in the area of Marketing since my high school years. I have done a lot of research and courses and have learned as much as I can about marketing and I am eager to learn and contribute more. I grew up in South America, living in the countries of Bolivia, Argentina, and finally settling in Caracas, Venezuela where I graduated from high school in 1984. Since then, Graphic Arts and Marketing have been my primary and only focus at work. I believe in the attention to detail, I believe in good public relations and believe in treating your clients with respect. With those qualities I believe an organization has all the possibilities to grow and succeed. I can see myself continaully growing and developing my skills and knowledge to become even more valuable to the company in the coming years.
