Hello my name is Laura, 24 years old, a dedicated wife to a hard working, loving husband, and a stay at home mom to two wonderful children, Cecilia (9), Abel (11 months).

I love being a stay-at-home mom. Feel free to think I’m crazy, except I don’t think I am. Staying home with my kids is great. No, not every moment, like when I walked in on my youngest kiddo trying to fish from the toilet this morning LOL I'm only kidding, but I love more moments than I hate. I love seeing my baby’s drooly grin when I get him up from a nap. I love hearing about my daughter’s day after school. I love seeing my children change, grow and learn each day; it’s an honor.

Although being home with my children is the most important and rewarding thing that I do, I have dreams. Next year I plan on attending Elite School of Beauty here in Vancouver to become a hair stylist. I love changing up hair colors and styles. Upon completing school I plan on doing hair in home to gain some experience. My ultimate dream is to have my own business some day so that I'm still able to enjoy my children.

I love children, and not only my own. I enjoy interacting with them and seeing their unique individual personalities come out. One of my favorite quotes is While we try and teach our children all about life, our children teach us all about life -Angela Schwindt. My children teach me something new everyday.

Now to get down to business, I would like to offer low cost childcare to families in the Vancouver area. I will offer in home care, I'm also open to watching the child(s) in your home if that's what you prefer but you must be willing to allow me to bring my 11 month old along. I am available for in home any hours of the week/weekend. I am located near downtown Vancouver in the Rose Village neighborhood. I live in a duplex with a good sized fenced yard. My home is very clean and 100% child proofed. Open to any activities you would like your child to engage in, indoor or outdoor, walks, art, reading etc. I could go on and on about how reliable and how good of a person I am but I prefer to do that in person as I'm sure you do. I have plenty of personal references, other than my close friends and family and am more than willing to provide you with those.
