Laura Baddish is the founder of The Baddish Group, a marketing and communication agency based in New York City. Alongside her highly qualified team, Laura and The Baddish Group have been responsible for some of the food industry’s most successful PR programs. The company has established itself as an industry leader in whip-smart food and beverage marketing.

Laura and her team are truly dedicated to client satisfaction. With a client-first mentality, the team remains plugged-in and intuitive. Together they influence key stakeholders through traditional and social media, special events, strategic partnerships and ideas that turn ordinary into extraordinary.

Laura's passion for the food and beverage industry is rooted in family traditions. Laura has vivid memories of her grandparents canning vegetables and making their own wine. As a baker, her grandfather spent many hours dedicated to his craft. Laura adored the bakery so much that she even helped arrange sending her 2nd grade class for the day. Growing up in Brooklyn, Laura and her sisters would attempt to carry on the trade by making cream puffs every Sunday in her Easy-Bake Oven.

Great food is the key to a larger and wider perspective on life. Although food is obviously fuel to keep your body healthy and happy, it can (and does!) accomplish so much more than that for so many people. A great culinary experience is one that brings everybody together. This holds true across cultures and eras. Every different flavor, recipe, and plating choice can create and communicate an entirely new and unique sensation or message.

Laura Baddish works with her company, The Baddish Group, to help high-end food and beverage brands communicate that message in the best way possible to exactly the people who want to hear it. Connecting creators and consumers is a joy, especially when the goods in question are so often incredibly delicious! As a food lover, Laura adores that she can embrace and champion that part of her identity both in and out of the office.

There is not much in life that so ubiquitously brings joy to people as a tasty treat. Preferences can vary wildly and no two palettes are the same - however, sincere appreciation of a great meal is very near universal.
