Laura Beale

When asked to describe me, my friends reply that I am compassionate, determined, calm, and humorous. I get my compassion for others from the circumstances in which I grew up. I was in foster care, and I knew what it meant to not have anything, and so I have a strong passion to help others. One of my life goals is to be part of something bigger than myself, whatever that may be. I am determined because I didn't want to follow the footsteps of some many around me. I get my calmness from surviving the many storms throughout my life. I have experienced many stressful sitautions in my life where I had to be the bigger person. I get my humor from finding light in every situation, even when things got tough. Now, these are some of my greatest qualities, but I am more than just words on paper.
