Travel maven and avid iPhoneographer Laura Bly has visited seven continents and 85-plus countries over an award-winning journalism career spanning three decades.

She's slurped scum-covered pond water during a week-long survival course in Utah and shared a bottle of rose with Peter Mayle in Provence; run a gauntlet of blazing pine branches during Bhutan's version of the Running of the Bulls and spent the past two years living out of a suitcase as a member of the growing "homeloose" tribe.

Now based part-time in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, her favorite place remains a window seat - headed somewhere she's never been.
