Throughout my life and especially my collegiate journey, I have spoken to so many people who had almost no grasp on how they wanted to spend the rest of their lives. I listened to them, although I could not pretend to relate.

I knew I wanted to be a part of the hospitality industry since middle school. It stayed in the back of my mind until college application season, when it set me on a clear path to further my education and pursue a career in a field I am truly passionate about.

When people ask me why I chose to major in Hospitality & Tourism Management, I never know where to begin. Because I love traveling? Because I am fascinated by hotels and their operations? While these things are true, the real answer is that I simply love making people happy. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, guests deserve the most comforting and enjoyable stay possible, and I am eager to catalyze this in any way I can.

In the summer seasons, I work for a group of luxury hotels on a destination island. I communicate and work with guests weeks prior to their arrival to ensure their vacation activities and all other expecations both on and off property are taken care of.

By developing a relationship with each client, I learn personal details that help me to create an itinerary perfectly tailored to each group or individual.

It is my greatest pleasure knowing that guests have been set on track for a perfect summer vacation and a great team of front of the house employees are there to make their stay unforgettable.

Each day, I grasp any chance I have to provide unique and exceptional service to people. I am so excited my journey of doing what I love has just begun!
