Laura Castillo Cantu

Laura has been dancing for the past 15 years, she has danced professionally for the San Antonio Spurs from 2000-2007 where she was named captain 4 years by her peers.

Her 15+ years of dance experience include working for The Network For Young Artist, a local non-profit organization that introduces dance and music to kids in the San Antonio area. Performed under the direction of former Spurs Director Raquel Garcia and Rosalyn Jones, CEO/Founder of ProDance. Spent a year at the semi-professional level with the San Antonio Stampede, Cynthia Trinidad. In addition to her career as a performer, she has coached and choreographed at various levels of dance in studio, high school and collegiate.

Laura served as captain of her high school dance team, and was an accomplished dancer awarded Showtime All-Star, Kick-Club and Miss Showtime nominee 1996-1998.

Laura represented the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs at NBA Madness events in the Philippines and South Korea in conjunction with NBA Asia in 2006. She has performed along-side various local and international recording artist and has appeared on television as a dancer.

Most recently, Laura has performed and choreographed for a special events company. Is a Marketing professional for a technology company and has instructed Zumba locally.
