I'm a freelance editor, proofreader, and writer living in the beautiful, inspirational city of Edinburgh.

By day, I work for all manner of companies in diverse fields. Most recently, I refined educational resources and articles for the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and sub-edited The MagPi Magazine.

By night, I write short stories and novels, mainly YA but sometimes for adults. My fiction and creative non-fiction has been published by the Scottish Book Trust, 26, Freight Press, Monstrous Regiment, and the Dangerous Women project. In 2016 I was chosen as a UNESCO Emerging Writer, reading a short story at the Edinburgh International Book Festival as part of Story Shop. I was also shortlisted as one of 44 writers for Penguin Random House's WriteNow mentoring initiative for underrepresented/marginalised writers.

I'm currently looking for representation for my first novel, an urban fantasy set in Edinburgh. In my spare time I tend to my growing pile of games consoles and musical instruments, and learn more languages than is healthy.
