For as long as I could remember creating art was what I thought of as something I could do for the rest of my life

The power, drive, and sense of accomplishment that the process allowed me to grasp was a feeling like no other. Throughout my life it is clear to say that my creative abilities found me in various avenues. From the young age of only 6, I brought home a clay picture I had made on a dainty piece of styrofoam during craft time. That gave my parents a shock of impressment. Although I was not nearly old enough to understand the gratitude of this moment, I now classify it as the defining moment of where my path began. As my interest into the art world flourished I found it difficult to connect with art works found in galleries and museums. I now understand the reasons for this as my love, passion and connection to modern pop culture art surfaced providing me with a means to succeed.
