Overview: During over 12 years in the Market Research sector, I have become a leader in the field, in particular for taking market and social research online.
My particular expertise is in the development of online custom research communities, and global research panels - and their effective use in research programmes. I also helped pioneer opinion polling and election research online, accurately predicting the outcomes of a range of political contests.
I am currently working as a freelance consultant in online marketing and research - whilst travelling in India - having taken a career break with a view to re-deploying my skills in the non-profit sector.
Research Expertise: My well-established expertise in online research, community strategy and global panels have lead me to deliver speeches at a variety of industry events, conferences, webinars, as well as to author white papers, articles and blogs.
As a result I was latterly commissioned to develop a corporate university for Vision Critical to teach staff clients, and partners - as well as to create a prolific online content resource about online reseach and community panels.
I have developed and lead teams responsible for delivering products from global panels to omnibus studies, custom studies, community panel strategy - and on the operations and services front: client services, survey design, sampling, data processing, and community member support.
Leadership: As a result of my reputation as driven leader, dogged problem solver and resident 'big brain', I am routinely deployed to plan, create, launch and establish new initiatives, building the infrastucture teams and processes required.
Although making SVP before the age of thirty counts as one of my proudest accomplishments, I am even prouder of the teams and the people I worked with! Developing the individuals I work with is one of my passions, and I thoroughly believe that the role of a good manager is to manage themselves out of a job.
Online marketing: As an expert in niche area of research participant recruitment I have a considerable basis of experience in online lead generation, online media buying and other web marketing techniques. As a social media 'maven', I also took the initiaitive to establish intial social media marketing effort for my previous firm.
