Laura De Vita has over 20 years of experience working in human resources departments at advisory or management level in a range of companies in the public and private sector. She has a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in human resources and knowledge management.

Mrs De Vita is currently a HR business partner at Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust. This hospital trust delivers learning disabilities, mental health and community services to Lincolnshire and has around 2,900 employees. Her day-to-day duties include attending divisional management team meetings and providing monthly data such as performance against key workforce metrics. She also creates implementation plans with management for change projects, acting as the lead on HR elements, and provides advice and support to reduce sickness absence, among other responsibilities.

As a workforce planner for the Rotherham, Doncaster, and South Humber Foundation Trust, Mrs De Vita’s responsibilities include working with service area managers to create workforce plans spanning two to three years and proposing new ways of working, such as by taking into consideration skill mixes that are required. One of the aims of her role is to develop realistic workforce plans for every service area within the Trust.

Outside of work, Mrs De Vita enjoys going to the gym, cycling and reading; her favourite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and her favourite author is Marianne Keyes. Mrs De Vita likes to travel and has done so extensively; some of the countries she has visited to date include Greece, Malta, France, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Turkey and the United States.
