Laura Fangman
Consultant in Virginia
A Midwesterner at heart, I was born and raised in Quincy, IL, but have lived in The South for the last 15+ years. (Though coastal locations that offer no basements still make me clutch my pearls during tornado season.) My family has moved no less than 13 times in the last 18 years, so I have a unique perspective on relocation and personal experience to balance my professional knowledge.
My experiences as a small business owner, prior to the transition into the real estate industry, have enhanced my abilities in the black-and-white side of contracts and negotiation, as well as the ever-changing needs of customer service. I am known for my direct approach and honest feedback, as much as my willingness to provide help and support. These skills are applied when working with clients, as well as in consulting with and speaking to agents across the country.
Currently, I live in Tennessee, where I alternately pray for rain & sun, depending on the weather. This is where my husband and I -both loyal Bears fans- are raising two amazing children and living our American Dream. I played the role of "Extra" in my high school's production of South Pacific, despite belting out more of "Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" than anyone else in the audition. I am certified to read blueprints and my biggest life lessons are mostly things I have learned the hard way, like: "Never buy a horse named 'Buck'."
