What: A roving reporter

When: Doing this as far back as I can remember -- from fourth grade class newsletter editor -- The 4-301 Planet at P.S.95 in the Bronx -- to currently covering county government for Newsday.

Where: Haiti, Cuba, Honduras, the Gulf Coast, Tallahassee, Miami, Long Island, Newtown, CT., New York City among the many places my reporting for The Miami Herald and Newsday has taken me.

Why: Because l want to save the world one article at a time. Cheesy but true.
