Laura Hilliger

I'm an artist, educator, writer and technologist. I'm into Open Web, freedom, education and a million other things. I spent the last 5.5 years working for the Mozilla Foundation where I invented, prototyped, built, coordinated, designed, strategized...basically, I had a lot of ideas to help spread web literacy.

Now I'm at Greenpeace, where I am helping promote a cultural shift towards open. I'm also an Open Ambassador for Opensource.com.

I am a passionate open webist (open web + activist) who believes that openness is intensely important. I'm a person that believes that sharing and collaboration without restrictive limitations on knowledge are the best ways to innovate, create and improve, not only software, but our world.
