I am a student of the world. There is not enough time in life to learn all the languages I want to speak and visit all the places I want to get lost in. I want to learn as much about this beautiful world as I can, and the people we share it with.

To my students, I am teacher, friend, counselor, advocate, second mother, confidant and so much more. My professional passion is teaching English as a Second Language, and throughout my career I have taught students in grades K-8. I speak three languages myself- English, Spanish, and German. I am licensed to teach ESOL and Middle Grades Language Arts in Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee. I want to inspire the next generation of students and teachers, and provide tips, tools and strategies to help all teachers better meet the needs of their English Language Learners.
