I have always had a keen intrigue in history, myths and folklore, growing up in Ireland not a day goes by where a tale is spun to entertain the family.

I Studied Egyptian Archaeology at Uni of Liverpool after being enthralled by the myths, stories and riches from a young age.

It was in my final year that I realised I want to work in museums and applied for the Leicester Museum Studies programme.

The course was a fascinating journey into the museum sector.
I wrote my MA dissertation on the use of non-invasive technologies being utilised on inaccessible museum objects to widen access to the general public. This research has given me a passion for using technologies 3D, augmented reality and tablets in museums to assist in the preservation of collections and widening access.

I have a wealth of background experience in collections care and documentation in Chatsworth House Trust, University of Liverpool and Chesterfield Museum and Art Gallery.

I desire to gain employment in collections so I can assist in the preservation of collections for future generations.
