Laura Kibler

I am presently a Guidance Counselor at Community Academy of Philadelphia and have had the opportunity to counsel students who are in grades 9-12. In addition to counseling, I have initiated new programs aimed at increasing our school's college rates. Some of these school wide events include financial aid sessions, transitioning to college workshops, and college and career fairs. I am not only the Guidance Counselor at the school but also the After School Director. I have been in charge of up to 100 enrolled After School students in grades K-6. As an After School Director, I managed a staff of up to 12 employees and built upon skills related to communication, management, and organization.
