Laura Bunster
As an Account Director at sports marketing agency Citydesk Sport, my current role sees me working across a wide range of marketing communications disciplines, from planning strategic marketing campaigns to managing social media accounts, writing press releases to developing creative work.
My passion lies in social media, and I have presented best practice case studies at both national and regional events, and delivered social media training workshops. A recent campaign - delivered primarily through social media - achieved 70% of its two year target in its first six months. I am also an experienced youth marketer, having worked on several campaigns targeted at students and young adults for the NHS, GCHQ, Yell, Currys PC World and a variety of sports initiatives and organisations on the run-up to London 2012.
Having won the Wyatt International prize for coming top in my year for my MSc in Marketing Communications in 2011 at the University of Birmingham, I pride myself on my ability to apply sound marketing principles to all my work.
