Laura Leigh Hicks . . .

Hello. I am a freelance graphic designer with over 5 years of experience creating brochures, programs, flyers, postcards, posters, T-shirts, and much more. For the past 5 years I have served as the Advertising & Publications Coordinator for Mississippi Home Educators Association. I have also designed a wide variety of projects for various people and organizations across the southern United States. I use the latest version of programs from the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

I have also worked with (and taught) various art mediums including pencil, pen, acrylic & oil paints, and charcoal.

Recently I have begun experimenting with animation, creating three short films which have received awards in the Mississippi Home Educators Association Film Festival for the past 3 years. I am currently learning Adobe After Effects.

When I am not experimenting with art or doing highschool, I enjoy pursuing my other interests including voice acting, theater, sound design, music, and healthy eating. I am also a two year alumna of the Lamplighter Guild for Creative Disciplines.
