Laura Marie

A native of South Texas, Laura Marie grew up steeped in poetry and music, earning her degree in music education and paying her dues in bands in Central Texas and beyond. There have been awards and accolades since. She was the 2010 winner of the Teas Lilith Fair contest and, most recently, an Independent Music Award winner and 2nd time regional finalist in the Mountain Stage NewSong contest. Audiences are continually drawn in at Laura Marie’s performances because of her honesty and passion.
