Educated at a lefty liberal arts college for women, followed by a law school dedicated to public service, I hold a strong belief that those lucky enough to have access to higher education ought to use it to do some good in the world. I became interested in going to law school when I started to see that wherever something important is going on, there is always a lawyer involved in one way or another.

With a vague idea of what I would do with a license to practice law, I started a process of self-discovery that sharpened my oral and written advocacy skills and uncovered a strong desire to help others navigate the judicial system. Gaining experience in criminal defense, housing and consumer litigation, and tax law, I emerged from law school with a real-world understanding of how to advocate for others. While criminal defense has been the most rewarding and exciting work I have done, I remain interested in almost every aspect of the law.

I hope to be an agent of change in the legal system, and I will always keep the "greater good" in mind in whatever work I do.
