I help organisations to communicate, drive and manage change and turn ideas into reality. Passionate about the role of business in society, I am a co-author of Poles Apart, a Penguin Random House business title (paperback June 2022) and co-host the Changed my Mind podcast.
I am Managing Director, Corporate Affairs at BusinessLDN, a not-for-profit organisation that harnesses the power of its members (c.200 of the largest businesses based in UK's capital) to champion the city at this critical moment in its history.
I started my professional life in a communications consultancy, advising commercial clients before moving into government and regulatory affairs. At the business department, I led the Comms strand on establishing the new Competition and Markets Authority, acting as an adviser to the Chair and CEO designate.
I left to set up Which?'s Corporate Affairs team, harnessing the organisation's insights to help businesses change consumer markets for the better. After increasing the team’s influence and growing its income by 350% over three years, I sought a new challenge as the group's Communications Director, leading a team of 50. Today, I champion consumer interests as a Board member at London TravelWatch, an independent body that represents passengers in the capital, and as a member of the campaign advisory panel for Transport Focus.
