Laura Palmer

My name is Laura. I’m from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, UK, though I currently live in Staffordshire, where I’m studying BSc Educational Studies and Psychology (Hons) at Keele University. I'm also an Educational Studies student representative, BPS student representative, and mentor there. I like to volunteer as well; I keep pretty busy!

I love rock music – though I do have a soft-spot for 80s music, and some 70s music (Bowie, for example!) – and I sometimes sing classical music just for fun. I particularly enjoy German composers and singing Baroque style music in different languages. I adore books, and can usually be spotted reading; mostly fiction and popular science, politics or philosophy. I also have interests in technology, gaming, history, politics, travel, creative writing, F1, and films, among other things. I’m also well known for my love of cupcakes and umbrellas; I guess I’m rather quaint like that. Oh, and when I get the time, I also collect Lego and do crochet and knitting.
