Over the course of her decade-long career in human resources (HR) and talent acquisition (TA), Laura Remaker has held C-level positions with startup companies, helping young businesses create growth strategies and streamline operations. Laura Remaker has also focused on the implementation of several people programs, including training, learning and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
From 2019 to 2022, Ms. Remaker served as Head of People Operations for Getta, an e-com market disrupter that raised $48 million in VC funding. Laura Remaker was responsible for overseeing all Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Internal Operations and general administration. During her tenure, Getta was named Best Places to Work in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Laura Remaker was also active with Getta's main investor, 3L Capital Partners, leading an effort to create an HR community within their portfolio companies.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Laura Remaker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and served as president of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She holds a Certificate in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Masters Certification in HR Management from Villanova University. Most recently, Laura Remaker started G2 Startup Advisors with other startup leaders to provide back office support and strategies to Series A, B and C tech startups.
