Ever since I can remember, I have been eager to learn more about the world around me. I love discovering the internal and external motivators that drive people to make the decisions they make. This is why I decided to study Marketing. It showed me why people think the way they do and how we, as business people, can influence their decisions.

I began my professional career as the Advertising and Promotions Intern for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club. During my internship with the Blues, I was able to assist with an assortment tasks. I was responsible for updating the media calendar with upcoming radio, television, and other media spots and track invoices after media buys. I also created spreadsheets for different promotions like 'Blues Bars' and Media Drops.
I created sample radio spots; one of which was aired on Fresh 102.5 in St. Louis.

One of the main focuses of the internship was for me to create and run an in-game promotion for the entire season. I used Twitter to track student engagement throughout our 'Student Night' games. Along with this promotion I developed ideas that were used in the Opening Day rally, Playoff rally, etc.

I helped with several of the community events, like the Golf Classic and season ticket holder functions. I assisted players in hospital and community visits as well.

Currently, I am the Marketing Assistant for a company called Indoff. Here I use Photoshop to create E-Marketing pieces for Sales Partners across the country as well as contribute to and edit the monthly newsletter using InDesign.
After writing a few posts, I was put in charge of maintaining and writing Indoff's Corporate blog.
I assist with creating content, maintaining and promoting Indoff's social media accounts as well as helping our Sales Partners with set up their own profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube).

My goal for the next five years is to explore and strengthen my skills in the media and promotions industries. I would love to continue to work with the public and make a difference in the community; where ever that may be.
