Laura Sánchez is a dance-entrepreneur, flamenco teacher, expressive arts researcher and experienced business strategist. She was born in Cadiz, Spain, where she started her Flamenco and Spanish Dance training as a child. Recently relocated to Boston where she has performed at different venues in the US including the Bruno Walter Lincoln Center in New York City. Two years’ finalist of the NYC Flamenco Vivo Competition winning the third award in 2016.Laura has been performing with Flamenco Dance Project since 2014 and was the dancer and choreographer of Quixote in Kabul, directed by Boston College of Fine Arts in 2015. She is an Expressive Therapies’ student at Lesley University and has performed at the NE National Dance Therapy Conference in 2018.Laura teaches Flamenco to adults and children at The Dance Complex and is a teaching artist at Boston Ballet and Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana in New York.

Laura founded LS Flamenco in 2014, an organization which mission is to share the love of Flamenco with new communities and to deliver happiness to people through this art form. Over these years she has brought flamenco dance to hundreds of people in Massachusetts. Laura is also a marketing and business strategist with more than 10 years of experience in multinational companies, which has give her the expertise needed to mentor artists and entrepreneurs during their business journey.
