I have 10+ years' experience in the administrative field. I worked at Crane Pumps and Systems providing 6 V.P. schedules well as pushing them to complete tasks in a timely manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
I am a technical writer and realize there is more to communication than talking or writing. Listening is the most important part of communication. Ask open ended questions to keep the conversation flowing.
Repair and maintains computers with an IT degree in Computer Networking Management.
I am more than intermediate in MS Office as well as Database, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher, Project Management, etc. As a matter of a fact, I have been certified in Project Management. Intermediate or higher competency in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and influence others with diplomacy and tact in a diverse environment. Empoering people is really the key to success. Lnowing when to set limits on each situation individualy seperates me from my peers.
I have worked as an office manager with a staff of 75-150 (depending on the task at hand) to supervise and keep on task. Honestly I have found that if you take the time to treat each employee like an individual instead of a number; the motivation just seems to flow. However, when that doesn't seem to motivate your employees; all you need to do is create department incentives.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
I have spent my whole life taking care of people just because they needed some help so I have had plenty of time to learn how to prioritize and make sure everyone stays on task. Multitasking comes very easy to me because that is how I manage being a single mom and successfully managing the care of my family and my parents while working and attending school. OneNote has made my life so much easier while creating a green environment.
