Laura Strathmann

Laura Strathmann has worked as a legal professional in the El Paso, Texas, region for over two decades now. She has a Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Master's in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. She puts all of her academic studies into practice through her work, where she has primarily focused on family law cases as an attorney and judge. She is passionate about helping vulnerable children and is grateful for the impact she has been able to have through her career. In her personal time, Laura is busy as a community-minded single mom. She is involved in the local Boy Scouts of America group and speaks at local schools on a regular basis.

She believes that being an involved member of her community and an engaged citizen helps her make the best decisions during her day job, and helps her understand what her friends and neighbors need most. She is committed to improving Texas through her career and community activism, and hopes she will be able to continue to serve as a judge for many years to come.
