Laura Thomason
I'm an associate professor of English at Macon State College specializing in 18th-century British literature with secondary interests in gender and sexuality studies, book history, and professional writing. I'm also a ballroom dancer, Internet addict, and Québecoise by marriage (Go Habs Go!). After wandering the Midwest and the West for 20 years, I am now dancing, reading, writing, and teaching in the South. I am currently working on
- a book tentatively titled The Matrimonial Trap: Women, Rhetoric, and Marriage in the Long Eighteenth Century.
- improving my 5K time (PR as of 09/05/2011: 29:02).
- choreography ideas for Dancing Stars of Central Georgia 2013.
