I'm a farm kid from rural South Dakota that loves to do anything and everything! I began studying at South Dakota State University in 2010, and as a fourth year here at state, my time is coming to an end. With three semesters left to complete my double major of graphic design and advertising, and my double minor in marketing and interior design, graduation in fall of 2015 doesn't seem so far away anymore!

As a bit of a free-spirited person, I love doing something different everyday. It keeps the excitement of what I'm doing alive and it makes me feel like I am making a difference.

You could ask me what I want to do with my life, but I may not know what to say. Plans change, people change, situations change. I know that I want to use my creativity in any and every way I can, but whether that will be as an artist, a graphic designer, an advertiser, or a photographer, or something else, I couldn't tell you! Whenever that one right job for me comes along, that's what I'll take. Until then, I suppose I'll keep myself busy with school, work, and my own little business called Rare Spark.

I started Rare Spark in 2012 as a photography, jewelry design, art, graphic design, and advertising company. I love doing all these things and it keeps me busy in a different way every day. Plus, I have amazing clients that are so great to work with, so that makes it even better!

I am fun-loving, I've got a quirky sense of humor, and I love my family and friends. I am fiercely loyal, and the harder things get, the calmer and more determined I get. It also seems that the older I get, the more go-with-the-flow I get. If something goes wrong, its okay. We learn from our mistakes and failures and we get better. If we did everything perfectly we would never learn anything, and life is all about learning and having fun while doing it.

As Ryan Reynolds once stated, "Don't take life too seriously - you'll never get out alive." I believe that people should have fun and enjoy their family and friends and the things around them that make them blessed to be alive. I know I do!
