Laureen Jordan

I've been extremely fortunate to have many adventures both here in the U.S. and abroad. My travels and experiences as an ESL instructor have given me an appreciation for diverse people, customs, cultures, and beliefs. I love traveling and experiencing the beauty of nature, but I also love spending time with my friends and family here at home.

One unexpected and life-changing adventure that I found right here in the U.S. was the opportunity to explore Usui Shiki Ryoho (Usui Reiki), a traditional Japanese method for pain reduction, stress relief, and overall well-being. After seeing the impact that Reiki had in my own life and the lives those close to me, I wondered, "Why didn't I hear about this before?" There must be others like me who could benefit from Reiki but who haven't had the opportunity to learn about it. Thus began my practice, Fair Winds Reiki & Mindfulness, to raise awareness about Reiki and empower others to support their own wellness and that of others with this restorative practice.
