Laura Germano

Laura is the proud recipient of the 2014 Michelle C. Comeau Award for Future Leader in Human Resources. She is passionate about leadership and growth, and has a keen interest in inspiring others.

Laura started her professional career in 2008 with the Canada Revenue Agency and has experience working in a region and headquarters. Over the last 5 years Laura has worked with HR for the EX community. She is currently a senior analyst working in leadership development and has experience with EX Performance Management & Compensation Policy and Talent Management.

Laura has her earned the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation and the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in HR from the University of Ottawa and spent 6 months studying HR at the Reims Management School in France to further understand HR as a strategic business partner.

Laura lives in Ottawa with her spouse and son. She enjoys physical exercise, yoga, and helping others.
