Laurel Gene Roth is an author, speaker, and mental health advocate. She has been published in anthologies such as Stigma Fighters Anthology Vols. 2. and 4, First-Class Times, and in the journal Teacher Librarian: "Karaoke in the Library.."
She is on the Speakers Board of the Mental Health Association of San Francisco and tells her story to combat stigma. Laurel has been interviewed on podcasts and local TV.
Her upcoming memoir is My Bipolar Summer Playlist: A Story of Mania and Recovery.
Laurel lives with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joey Ramone saved her life.
